Your Adventure: Cake Sleuthing and Ingredient Gathering
As a participant in “Baker’s Quest,” you’ll step into the baker’s flour-dusted shoes. Armed with clues, and your wits, you’ll follow the trail of crumbs through Covent Garden. Here’s what awaits you:
1. Cake Sleuthing:
Investigate the suspects, eliminate the culprits, and uncover the truth behind the stolen recipe. Was it the mischievous macaron maker or the cunning croissant connoisseur? You’ll need your detective skills to crack the case!
2. Ingredient Collection:
Along the way, tick off the cake ingredients hidden throughout the area. Flour, sugar, eggs, and secret flavorings await discovery. Each ingredient brings you closer to recreating the stolen cake masterpiece.
3. 6000 Steps of Discovery:
Lace up your walking shoes! The quest covers approximately 6000 steps, winding through cobblestone streets, bustling markets, and hidden alleys. Take your time—there’s no rush. Enjoy the sights, sounds, and scents of Covent Garden.
4. Cake and Coffee Breaks:
Pause at cozy cafes and bakeries for well-deserved breaks. Sip a latte, savour a slice of cake, and recharge. After all, a good detective needs sustenance!

Covent Garden is a feast for the eyes. Capture snapshots of colorful cupcakes, elegant éclairs, and whimsical pastries. Your Instagram feed will thank you!

Ingredients can be identified through code breaking, finding signs, reading menus, to name but a few!

Covent Garden, located in the heart of London, is a vibrant area known for its historic charm, shopping, and al fresco dining.
Covent Garden Market Building & Piazza:
- The Market Building is a three-story hub of shopping, dining, and performance.
- Pedestrianized after 10:30 AM, it houses individual traders at the Apple Market alongside big-name brands.
- Royal Opera House Arcade: Luxury shopping in the arches of the Royal Opera House.
